About This Spot

Walking into El Manzanillo feels like stepping into a warmly animated corner of Blairsville where familiar Mexican flavors come alive amid vibrant music and lively decor. The pace here strikes a comfortable balance — bustling enough to feel spirited, yet invitingly relaxed, letting you settle in without rush. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot where conversations flow easily, and the attentive staff adds to the sense of genuine welcome without pressing the clock.

The atmosphere is rich with color and sound, a backdrop that complements the meal rather than competing with it. You’ll find that the large, diverse menu mirrors this spirited setting, offering a mix of classic and regionally inspired dishes, each presented with straightforward honesty. Whether you’re drawn by the ritual of Taco Tuesday or the refreshing bite of a perfectly chilled margarita, the experience here gently nudges you toward sharing moments — whether that means passing around platters of richly sauced meats, savoring the comforting warmth of rice and beans, or discovering a new favorite in dishes made with care and thoughtful detail.

There’s a sense of familiar joy in the generous portions and the clearly marked vegetarian offerings, which feel crafted to include everyone at the table. The food arrives with approachable authenticity: bright, balanced flavors that invite you to explore without overwhelming, served alongside a salsa that embodies the lively spirit of the place. It’s an environment where many linger a little longer, lingering over second rounds of drinks or softening into the evening with the satisfaction that comes from good food made for good company.

El Manzanillo feels less like a stop along the way and more like a destination for those who appreciate the everyday pleasures of sharing a meal that’s both comforting and full of subtle surprises. It’s a place that calls you back, with its warmth, its bustling charm, and the simple joy of Mexican fare done with heart.

Simple and delicious Mexican fare, served quickly with pleasant staff. Mexican music and decor throughout. The menu is huge! And many clearly labeled vegetarian dishes. Portions are large, plan to share or take a box home. The elote was especially good. Wish we had room to try the deserts, will have to go back!

A great Mexican restaurant. It is probably my favorite in the area. Friendly staff, great service, and the food is well above the average for Mexican places around. I don't think I've had anything that was not great. They also have a large menu with a lot of different items you don't find everywhere. Plus a variety of hot sauces to choose from. Their serving sizes are generous, and cheese dips are huge.

Very good Mexican food - better than some I've had in town. It definitely had a more authentic flavor. The salsa they serve at your table was tasty. Personally, I had the carne asada tacos and they came nicely dressed with half a lime, some sort of spicy sauce, rice, and refried beans. The staff checked on us on occasion and didn't try to move us out when we were done eating so we were able to chat a bit longer. I look forward to bringing my husband back for dinner sometime.

Super staff! Food was good. The only downside was, I ordered a burrito to take home. They brought me a bag when we paid our tab. When I got home, and ready to eat my burrito, I found someone's half eaten fajitas in my bag. No burrito.

Stopped for dinner, it was a Sunday night so no margaritas. I ordered my standard Texas fajitas. My girlfriend had the tacos. Service was good. Nice place, clean and festive atmosphere. Only 2 tortillas with my fajitas, typically you get at least 3. Plenty of fixings, including guacamole. Chicken and steak chopped up beyond recognition. Shrimp were good. I would go back again, if in the area
